Azerbaijani delegation gets acquainted with the activities of leading livestock enterprises and dairy processing plants in Israel
The visit of the Azerbaijani delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov to Israel continues.
 
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the advanced practices applied in leading livestock enterprises and dairy processing plants in Israel. During the meetings, breeding and selection work carried out to increase the meat and dairy productivity of cattle, the application of automated systems in processing plants, improving the breed composition of animals and other topical issues were discussed.
 
The delegation got acquainted with the activities of the livestock complex operating under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Safety of Israel, where scientific research is conducted on the breeding of dairy cattle, the country's leading processing enterprises producing dairy products, the artificial insemination center, as well as farms specializing in milk production. The guests were given extensive presentations on the development of animal husbandry in Israel, research conducted to improve the breeding qualities of breeds, the formation of a dairy processing chain, access to local and foreign markets, and other topics.
 
During the meetings held at the enterprises, a preliminary agreement was reached on organizing mutual visits to study the advanced practices applied by Israel in agriculture, especially in the field of animal husbandry, and establishing effective cooperation between scientific research institutes specializing in animal husbandry. It was noted that using the existing scientific research potential of Israel in the field of animal husbandry and applying innovative approaches in this field in the agriculture of Azerbaijan can increase productivity, improve breeding work, and organize production processes more efficiently. It was emphasized that this cooperation is of great importance in terms of implementing joint projects in the future, expanding the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as ensuring sustainable development in the animal husbandry sector.
