On January 17, the 85th International Green Week fair opened in the capital of Germany, Berlin.
Considered one of the world's largest agricultural exhibitions, the event is being held in the famous Messe halls. The fair was first organised 94 years ago, in 1926. Azerbaijan has been represented at the fair for a 12th time now.
Azerbaijani companies are participating in the fair with the support of the Economy Ministry. Its participation was organised by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The area made available for Azerbaijan at the fair is 98 square metres. More than 180 types of products are displayed to by the 11 participating companies here.
A total of 1,500 companies from 70 countries of the world are taking part in the International Green Week fair this year.
Agriculture Minister Inam Karimov, who is visiting Germany, and ambassador Ramin Hasanov attended the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani exposition. They familiarized themselves with the products of Azerbaijani companies and had several meetings.
