Delegation of the Korea Regional Development Institute and the Cooperative Development Institute is in our country. Guests visited the Agro Procurement and Supply Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) today and met with the company's management board at the invitation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The sides expressed satisfaction about the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea in various fields, including in agro sector, and discussed the prospects of further cooperation between the Agro Procurement and Supply OJSC, the Korea International Cooperation Agency and other specialized organizations in this field.
During the meeting, sides discussed the applications and learning of Korean experience in the field of further improvement of Azerbaijan's procurement and supply system.
Chairman of Agro Procurement and Supply OJSC, Leyla Mammadova stated that meeting with the Korean delegation will play an exceptional role in the development of the agro sector in our country:
“There are friendly relations between Korea and Azerbaijan, we cooperate in various fields. Korea has huge experience in agro sector, and we are interested in learning and applying this experience to our country. Therefore, we hold regular meetings with the relevant authorities of this country. Applying the experience of the Korea in the creation of cooperatives consisting of farmers, development of agriculture in the regions of Azerbaijan will further accelerate and expand”.
